I’m Eugene, and alongside building websites I offer a straightforward monthly maintenance service for small businesses across Ireland. No jargon, no surprise bills — just someone keeping an eye on your website so you don’t have to.
What’s actually included
For €200 a month I take care of everything your website needs to stay secure, fast and up to date:
WordPress updates. WordPress, your theme and all your plugins need regular updates. Skipping these is one of the most common reasons websites get hacked or start behaving strangely. I handle all of this as standard.
Daily backups. If something goes wrong — a bad update, a hack, an accidental deletion — a recent backup is the difference between a ten-minute fix and a complete rebuild. I run daily backups so you’re always covered.
Security monitoring. I monitor your site for malware, suspicious activity and known vulnerabilities. If something flags up, I deal with it before it becomes a problem.
Uptime monitoring. If your website goes down, I get an alert immediately. Most business owners don’t find out their site is down until a customer tells them — sometimes days later. With uptime monitoring that doesn’t happen.
Content changes. Need to update a price, swap out a photo, add a new service or change your opening hours? That’s included. Small content changes are part of the service — no hourly rates, no invoices for fifteen minutes of work.
Why it matters more than most people realise
A website that goes down during business hours costs you enquiries. A hacked website can destroy your Google rankings overnight — and rebuilding trust with Google after a security incident takes months. An outdated WordPress installation is one of the most common entry points for attacks on small business websites.
None of this is dramatic day-to-day. But the cumulative effect of ignoring website maintenance is real, and the cost of fixing problems after the fact is always higher than preventing them in the first place.

How much does it cost? €200 per month, all inclusive. No setup fee, no hidden extras. Content changes, updates, backups, security and uptime monitoring are all included.
Do you only maintain sites you’ve built? No — I’m happy to take on maintenance for existing WordPress sites built by someone else. I’ll do a quick audit first to make sure I know what I’m working with.
What if something major goes wrong? Minor issues and content changes are covered in the monthly fee. If something more significant comes up — a major hack or a rebuild required — I’ll let you know what’s involved and quote separately. That said, regular maintenance makes major problems significantly less likely.
Is there a contract? No long-term contract. I ask for a month’s notice if you want to cancel, but there’s no tie-in period.
