A complete move from Squarespace to Shopify for Irish country-rock artist Marty Mone—bringing his music, tour dates, videos and growing merchandise business together in one powerful online store.
The brief
Marty Mone had already built a substantial audience and merchandise range, but the existing Squarespace setup was no longer the right platform for the scale of the operation. The new website needed to sell physical and digital products while still feeling like the official home of the artist.
I rebuilt the website in Shopify around the full fan journey: discover Marty, listen to the music, watch videos, find a live show, shop official merchandise and join the mailing list. Behind the scenes, the store is far easier to manage as products, orders and campaigns grow.
The challenge
The project had to combine a large ecommerce catalogue with music, live events and fan engagement—without making the experience feel crowded or difficult to manage.
Migrate and reorganise a substantial range of clothing, music, signed items, collectables and exclusive merchandise.
Give music, videos, tour dates, awards and social channels a clear place alongside the commercial store experience.
Create a stronger system for products, orders, customers, delivery regions, digital items and future campaigns.
What I delivered
The rebuild combined ecommerce, content, audience growth and day-to-day store management in one coherent platform.
A full rebuild on a platform designed to handle a growing catalogue, customer base and volume of online orders.
Clear collections for clothing, music, merchandise, posters, signed items and special releases, with improved product presentation.
Support for digital music downloads, gift cards, personal video products and limited-edition items alongside physical merchandise.
Dedicated content for streaming links, official videos, photography and upcoming live shows, keeping the artist at the centre of the site.
Thousands of existing subscribers brought into the new setup, with a prominent signup journey for music, tour and merchandise updates.
Tracked shipping regions, customer-care information and store policies organised to support fans ordering from Ireland and overseas.
The outcome
The finished Shopify website gives fans one clear destination for official merchandise, music, videos and live dates. It presents Marty’s achievements—including more than 100 million streams—while giving the management team a practical platform for products, customers, orders and future campaigns.
