A complete website rebuild for TFI Local Link Louth Meath Fingal—bringing routes, timetables, fares, training and online payments together in one clear public-facing platform.
The brief
Local Link Louth Meath Fingal provides rural and community transport across three counties. Its website has to serve passengers looking for immediate travel information while also supporting training customers, staff and regular service updates.
I rebuilt the site around the tasks people actually arrive to complete: find a timetable, check a route, understand a fare, learn about a service or book training. The result is a clearer, more practical website that the organisation can continue to update as services change.
The challenge
The project had to make a large amount of changing information easier to navigate without losing the detail passengers and staff depend on.
Organise timetables, routes, maps and fares so passengers can reach the right information quickly on desktop or mobile.
Create a straightforward way to present professional training courses, manage availability and accept bookings and payments online.
Build a flexible WordPress system that can handle route updates, service notices, new course dates and compliance information over time.
What I delivered
The project combined design, content organisation, e-commerce and ongoing technical work rather than treating the website as a one-off brochure.
A clearer structure for route pages, downloadable timetables, mapped journeys and individual fare information across the network.
A WooCommerce booking flow for CPC and other training, including Stripe payments, course capacity controls and voucher booking support.
Dedicated content for regular rural services, door-to-door transport, hospital services and Independent Travel Support.
A practical publishing setup for new routes, timetable changes, fare notices, payment updates and other passenger communications.
Updated privacy, cookie and company-documentation areas to make important organisational information easier to find.
Continued technical support for route changes, training availability, content updates, troubleshooting and everyday website management.
The outcome
The finished website gives passengers a much clearer route to essential information and gives Local Link LMF a stronger platform for managing services, training and public communications. It also creates a reliable base that can evolve as routes and operational needs change.
